WE NEED YOUR HELP

In March 2005 Karen Savoy, president and founder of MASH, will be traveling to Washington DC to meet with Legislators again to discuss the Federal Hazing Bill/Law. We are requesting your help, by simply sending us an email showing your support of our efforts. All letters will be bound and put into booklet form to be presented to Congress.

Due to the support of concerned citizens like you, MASH has successfully pushed anti-hazing legislation, which addresses elementary, middle and high schools in Louisiana.

Now we are making a concerted effort to assure the protection of all children throughout the United States. U.S. Senator Mary Landrieu of Louisiana and U.S. Representative Diane Watson of California are authoring a federal anti-hazing bill.

Please have you voice heard and counted by clicking the link below and sending the preformatted email. After all, the life you may be saving may be your child's!

Please return all emails before February 20, 2005. Also, please feel free to forward the information to ANYONE you think might want to help.

The results of this drive will be published in our March 2005 newsletter. We thank you for your participation.

If you encounter trouble with the above link please simply copy and paste the text below into a new email and send to ksavoy@mashinc.org. Once again, thank you for your support of MASH.

I am writing to ask for your immediate support of a federal anti-hazing law.

Pain and suffering continue to occur due to hazing and since September 2004 there have been seven college students who have died in hazing related incidents.

Your attention to this most important problem is appreciated.
