Awareness

Making students aware that the school will not tolerate any form of hazing. Claiming the campus as an Anti-Hazing campus.

Education

  • Giving students resources to educate them on the definition of hazing, therefore leaving no questions as to what hazing is.
Hazing Defined: Any action taken or situation created, intentionally, whether on or off school premises, to produce mental or physical discomfort, embarrassment harassment or ridicule

  • Rules, regulations and policies:
Creating anti-hazing policies within your school with strict penalties, therefore discouraging students in the participation of such events.

Enforcement

  • If at any time an incident occurs, it is of the utmost importance that the penalties are carried out to the fullest, therefore discouraging students from participating in any future incidents.

It is a goal of Mothers Against School Hazing to see that every school be mandated to have a anti-hazing policy. Also to display in athletic locker rooms and/or organizations the definition of Hazing and the policy and penalties implemented by that school.
